Dr. Yvesnerson Fontaine, DPM

Mr. Yvesnerson Fontaine, APRN, FNP-C, is a highly dedicated and skilled Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner joining the team at Total Foot Care & Wellness Clinic. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from St. Thomas University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University, and an Associate in Arts degree in Nursing from Miami Dade College.

With nearly a decade of comprehensive clinical and acute healthcare experience, Mr. Fontaine brings a dynamic depth of expertise to his practice. His distinguished background spans advanced wound management, excisional debridement, tissue graft application, urgent care, emergency medicine, and chronic care coordination across hospital systems, acute rehabilitation centers, and home healthcare settings.

Most recently, Mr. Fontaine served as an Advanced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner at Procure Health and Wound Xperts, as well as a Registered Nurse with Baptist Health South Florida. In these roles, he provided specialized clinical care, performed complex debridement, managed acute and chronic conditions, and collaborated with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Mr. Fontaine is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), holds active APRN licenses in Florida and Arizona, and possesses specialized certifications as a Wound Care Specialist (WCS-C) and Excisional Debridement Specialist (EDS-C). His rich academic background, robust procedural proficiency, and compassionate care philosophy make him an exceptional addition to the Total Foot Care & Wellness Clinic team. Outside of his professional career, Mr. Fontaine enjoys spending quality time with family, remaining active in professional healthcare associations, and giving back to community health initiatives. He is fluent in English, Creole, and French.
