Dr. Jasmaine Shelford was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and after some time her family relocated to Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Shelford went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Dr. Shelford then went on to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami, FL. After graduation, Dr. Shelford completed her surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. During residency, Dr. Shelford also completed a Podiatric Dermatopathology Fellowship Program at BAKO labs in Alpharetta, GA.

Dr. Shelford went on to join a private practice in New Jersey. It was from here that Dr. Shelford decided to move back to sunny Florida where she joined Total Foot Care Podiatry And Wound Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Shelford specializes in major foot trauma, elective foot surgery, pediatric foot deformities, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and podiatric dermatology. Dr. Shelford is also a member of The American Podiatric Medical Association. In her spare time Dr. Shelford enjoys spending time with her family and is also a published author of a children’s book entitled The Secret of Life. Dr. Shelford looks forward to taking care of all of your podiatric needs.
