Dr. Candice Kennedy, MS, DPM, DABPM

​

Dr. Kennedy hails from St Louis, Missouri and completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Missouri-Columbia aka Mizzou. After Mizzou Dr. Kennedy moved to Hampton, Virginia to complete her masters in Medical Sciences from Hampton University. It was at this time that Dr. Kennedy decided to change her path of following in her grandfather’s footsteps and pursuing a career as an Oral Surgeon and decided to pursue Foot Surgery instead.

 

Dr. Kennedy was accepted at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami Shores, Florida. After completion of podiatry school, Dr. Kennedy completed a three-year surgical residency program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. During her last year of residency, Dr. Kennedy completed a two week Dermatopathology Fellowship at BAKO Labs in Alpharetta, Georgia.

 

Shortly after completing her residency program Dr. Kennedy moved to Irvine, California to complete a competitive year long ACFAS approved Fellowship at The SSC Sports Medicine Fellowship (formerly known as IMSC). Dr. Kennedy has dual board certifications with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry Lower Extremity Geriatric Medicine.

 

Dr. Kennedy now resides in Jacksonville, Florida where she enjoys her free time with her family living, laughing and enjoying all that life has to offer and more. Dr. Kennedy looks forward to meeting you and delivering exceptional care with a smile :)
