Jessica Cummings-Nigh brings a wealth of training and experience to her visits to patients’ homes and assisted living facilities.

Ms. Cummings-Nigh began her career in nursing right here in Florida back in 2002. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville.

After working as an RN Clinical Coordinator and RN Clinical Manager in Gainesville and Keystone Heights for over 11 years, Ms. Cummings-Nigh moved to OR nursing at Shands Starke Regional Medical Center in Starke. She stayed there until 2017 when she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain School of Nursing in
Chicago.

She continued her work as an OR nurse, with an emphasis on Orthopedics, and further honed her skills as a manager and coordinator. Ms. Cummings-Nigh went on to work as an Endoscopy charge nurse and a mental health RN. Throughout her nursing experiences, she gained valuable patient care and relationship
skills and is a compassionate practitioner. In 2022, Ms. Cummings-Nigh earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain School of Nursing in Chicago. While continuing as a mental health RN at North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, she also began working as a Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner in Keystone Heights.

Ms. Cummings-Nigh brings over 20 years of experience and education to Total Foot Care. She is a licensed Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Florida. Her areas of expertise include working with patients with multiple chronic health issues, patient education, and establishing rapport with patients from all
walks of life.

 

Ms. Cummings-Nigh has spent her career making life better for the people of the Sunshine State. She looks forward to providing the highest quality of care to her Total Foot Care patients in the familiar, comfortable setting of their homes.
